Studio Policies

Workshop Booking Policies By registering for a Clay Space workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies. Age Requirements: Age requirements vary by workshop and are listed in the workshop description. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a participating, registered adult unless otherwise noted. Cancellations & Transfers: Workshop registrations are non-refundable. Reservations may be transferred to a friend or family member; please notify us prior to the workshop. Materials & Finished Work: Included materials vary by workshop; see the workshop description for details. For ceramic workshops requiring firing, finished pieces are typically ready for pickup 4–6 weeks after the final workshop. Ceramics is an unpredictable process, and pieces may crack, warp, break, or have unexpected glaze results. Clay Space cannot guarantee successful firing or be responsible for damage occurring during the ceramic process. Finished work must be picked up within 60 days of notification. Unclaimed items may be donated or discarded. Studio Policies: No prior experience is required unless otherwise stated. Wear clothing appropriate for the activity and that you don’t mind getting messy. Participants must follow instructor directions and studio safety guidelines. Clay Space may remove anyone engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior without refund. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability: Participation may involve tools, equipment, materials, chemicals, heat, and other potential hazards. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume the inherent risks of these activities and agree to follow all safety instructions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Clay Space LLC, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation, except those caused by gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct. Participants under 18 must be registered or authorized by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these policies on the minor’s behalf to the extent permitted by law. By completing registration, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Workshop Booking Policies.
